JILIPG GCash App: Verification, Limits and the 2025 Gaming Change

The GCash app is the e-wallet run by G-Xchange, Inc., which the GCash Help Center footer says is regulated by the BSP. 2. Type the 6-digit code, then give your birthday and confirm Filipino citizenship.
3. Select your ID and scan the physical card.
4. Complete the selfie scan, check what you entered, and press Submit.

One valid government ID is enough, and GCash says the result arrives by SMS after 7 days. A standard GCash account is open to Filipinos aged 18 and over with a PH SIM, yet the age for any gaming platform stays at 21 under PAGCOR’s rules.

GCash app limits from 1 October 2026

A wallet limit is the most a GCash account may hold at any one time. The Help Center table updated for 1 October 2026 sets these figures:

Reach a ceiling and GCash pauses the affected services until you upgrade or until the next month’s 1st. Transfers from GCash to a bank or another e-wallet run over InstaPay at PHP 10 per transaction.

The 2025 Gaming Change and the JILIPG Cashier

A gaming top-up was a wallet button that sent money straight into a betting account. BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 gave BSP-supervised banks and e-wallets a 48-hour deadline to pull in-app gambling links. For JILIPG players the wallet now does banking only: GCash’s Help Center calls it “not a gaming app” and dates the end of licensed gaming cash-in and cash-out to 16 August 2025; Maya’s Lucky Games feature went dark the same day.

The JILIPG lobby still names GCash and Maya in its own notices and promotion terms. Read those as the lobby’s words, and set them beside four rules from its help pages and Terms:

1. Deposit receiving accounts change, so the current one appears on the recharge screen before every deposit.
2. A bank or e-wallet account has to be registered ahead of any withdrawal, and its payee name is locked once bound.
3. No withdrawal request goes through until the turnover is met.
4. ID documents can be asked for before a payout or a bonus leaves the account.
